Temple Quarter Programme Director role overview
One of the largest urban regeneration projects in the UK, the Temple Quarter sits right in the heart of Bristol. It is now ready to be transformed into a vibrant area, generating significant employment and residential opportunity for up to 10,000 homes and 22,000 jobs and an economic boost of £1.6 billion per year to the city.
In turning this vision into reality, you will twin strategic leadership with strong project management experience, alongside the confidence to communicate with a diverse and complex stakeholder community. A team of strategy, programme and appraisal professionals will look to you as an inspiring leader, in a role in which you will become a trusted external voice for the Temple Quarter and build your professional profile exponentially.
Working closely with the Programme Board, not only will you be a guiding voice in shaping strategy, you will manage the programme framework, holding everyone to high standards and minimising risks, whilst demonstrating an infectious passion to drive economic growth through change and take others on that journey.
You will be adept at managing infrastructure projects, with a honed understanding of the regional and national policy context and political prowess. Your ability to turn technical information into coherent investment stories will also help our communities see the broader picture and support further funding opportunities to pursue the overall vision.
This once in a generation opportunity definitely requires a closer look.
